Congrats!

Hello Everyone! It’s Aga here and today I’m sharing a watercolour card using Persian Motifs and Label Love sets. This time however I used slightly different technique than normally.

congrats

First I stamped the Persian motifs in very light colour (Buttercream), and then I used watercolours to cover them. There is no need to stay in lines, I only covered the background area. Last step was to stamp the floral motifs once again over the old ones but in black colour. Thus, I didn’t have to worry about the danger of smudging my stamped images while applying watercolours.

To finish my card off I added some yellow splatters and gold confetti stars.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

It’s a Special Day

Hello Everyone! It is Aga here and I’m popping in to share another simple card today. Like probably most of you, I find my inspiration everywhere around me. And this time wasn’t different, some fabric I saw the other day inspired me to create today’s background:

I started with floral images from the Persian Motifs set stamped in dark blue. Next I used a blue marker to fill in the spaces between flowers and added some delicate blue splatters here and there. To finish my card off, I added a white panel with a stamped sentiment and die cut numbers.

Hello Everyone! It’s Aga here and today I’m sharing a quick and simple card that is a great example of how to stretch the versatility of coordinating dies.

congrats1

This time I haven’t used them to cut a stamped image. I simply ran a piece of white cardstock through my die cut machine using the Persian Motifs Die. Then I used watercolours to colour my elements a bit and embellished them with gold glitter for some extra sparkle. I wanted my background to contrast these colours so I just made some black splatters and added a black label sentiment.
