November Challenge: From the Craft Room

Time to get creative for our November challenge!

This month’s theme: From the Craft Room: Scraps to Arts

November challenge

This time I pulled out some scraps from my scrap box to create the inspiration board. The only thing that wasn’t a scrap was the metal frame.

Here is a card based on the photo:

November challenge cardI stamped the flower and swirls from our Peony Scrolls set in Archival black ink on water color paper. Next I used Gansai Tambi water colors to paint the floral images. I mixed colors and painted in a slightly loose manner. Once everything was dry, I adhered some star glitter, and adhered the panel to a 3.75″ x 5″ card base. The sentiment is from our Label Love set, and it was stamped on a separate piece of card stock, trimmed, and adhered.

The leaves were painted with a shimmery bronze water color!
